Le Manoir @ Chez Fins Bois

Second visit here this year with friends. Very lovely renovated buildings in a spacious courtyard setting. Gites are very clean and comfortable, very well equipped, with hosts John and Tanya most helpful and welcoming.

We had a very pleasant stay with John and Tania. Nice and clean gîte. Perfect for families with children to stay if you are looking for a quiet peaceful location.

We stayed here for 10 days with the intention of cycling but our stay coincided with the hottest June France has ever known, so the cycling was slightly curtailed. However, the swimming pool was our saviour as it was simply too hot to do anything but cool off. The accommodation was delightful, well equipped and John and Tania are lovely and helpful hosts. It is a very rural location, but that suited us and we knew that before we arrived. Peace and tranquillity guaranteed.

We chose to stay with John and Tania as we wanted ‘get away from it all’ in their lovely gite. A super place in the heart of the Charentes, an excellent base for plenty of swimming, walking, sightseeing and enjoying the french way of life!

Gite de charme très agréable . Plusieurs gîtes, la proximité des extérieurs avec les autres vacanciers peut être dérangeante . Des propriétaires souriants qui cherchent à rendre le séjour le plus confortable possible.

We have really enjoyed our stay with Tania and John in their beautiful home. The house itself was perfect; nice and spacious, lovely decoration and everything needed for our vacation. We really enjoyed the garden, swimming pool and outdoor space with our two kids. Tania and John were very welcoming. The area around Nere is beautiful and there are nice things to do with (young) kids!
