Le manoir de Beauregard, authentique manoir angevin du XVe: 10 chbres et piscine

Very suitable for large family celebration - grandparents, children and grandchildren. Good pool which was safely fenced in so that younger children could not get in when no adults were around. Enough seating indoors and outdoors for our party of 14. Helpful host.

Nous avons passé 2 jours entre amis dans le Manoir de Chambellay. Tout s'est très bien passé, le manoir est grand, et les espaces extérieurs sont très agréables. Nous avons même pu mettre un peu de musique et nous n'avons apparemment dérangé personne. Wendy et Marc ont été très prévenants et disponibles. Merci encore!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ces trois jours en famille ( 8 adultes et 9 enfants ). Le temps splendide a permis de profiter largement de dla grande piscine, les repas pris sous le vaste préau étaient très agréables et la cuisine est très bien équipée. De plus l’hôtesse est charmante et très à l’écoute.

We stayed for a week with extended family, 18 total with 10 kids and there was plenty of space and bed options for everyone. The kids enjoyed the space of the large dorm room up the tower with 8 beds. We played at the pool a lot and appreciated that it was closed off and heated for little kids. There are some updates that could be made, in the bathrooms or kitchen, but everything functioned well and we had no problems. It's a charming place, so don't expect a lot of modern amenities. There was wifi and close to stores and small towns for anything needed. We enjoyed a day in Angers as well as a day of horse racing at the next town over and visiting the market. Overall we had a great time and the communication with the owners was great throughout.

Nous avons séjourné à 21 amis au sein de cette propriété et il n’y a rien à redire. Le lieu est magnifique, de l’espace pour tous et chacun a eu son lit, confortable qui plus est. La piscine en période de fortes chaleurs est un vrai plus et le mobilier extérieur mis à disposition permet la détente et le repos. Nous avons trouvé un logement propre et très bien aménagé pour faire la cuisine à plusieurs - les trois barbecues sont à souligner! Le lien avec notre hôte Wendy fut très agréable. Elle a su nous renseigner sur les commerces de proximité. Nous recommandons ce lieu les yeux fermés, tout en espérant pouvoir nous aussi, y retourner!

Un emplacement au calme, en pleine campagne. Un grand abri extérieur, une vaste salle de séjour pouvant chacun accueillir tout le monde. Une cuisine très agréable. Les nombreuses chambres et sanitaires ont permis à chacun de trouver facilement sa place. Nous avons passé un formidable week-end en famille.

We very much enjoyed a family holiday in this property ( actually 2 buildings). The house is very well equipped and the rooms are extremely spacious. There are were 4 bathrooms plus 2 downstairs toilets, so no worries there. The house is very old and therefore doesn't appear to be spotless as certain rooms, particulary bathrooms, need a little updating. However the house was very clean and no concerns really. If you are wanting to get away for a peaceful holiday then the location is perfect. It is very isolated with just a herd of cows for neighbours - lovely. There are no shops or bars within walking distance, a car is essential, but there is a wonderful bakery just 5 km away in the next town and larger supermarkets are available within a 20 minute drive. There is a large outdoor pool, we chose to opt for the heating to be on, which is perfect for relaxing around. Plenty of sunbeds and chairs are provided. There is also a French Pool table and table tennis available. Our favourite aspect was the outdoor seating area. Adjoining the main house it is a covered area with large tables, lots of seats and two barbecues, perfect for large family meals. Extra tables also made it a great 'jigsaw' area! It was easy to get to main roads and so days out are not a problem if you get fed up of relaxing!

We rented just the Manoir building and enjoyed the use of a large living room and kitchen and 4 of the 5 bedrooms (we didn't use the dormitory 8 bedded room). The swimming pool was lovely and warm and in a good setting with a lockable access so it was secure from our children. The bathrooms had good showers and plenty of hot water. The kitchen had plenty of equipment. Outside we used the table tennis and BBQ and the 2 swings in the garden. There were plenty of sun loungers by the pool and we found 2 noodles and a ball to play with in the swimming pool. The pool had a cover to keep it warm. There were pretty flowers around the Manoir and a vine. We picked lots of blackberries around the edge of the large green space. We enjoyed looking at the activity on the neighbouring farm where there was a herd of cows and 2 tractors. We watched the cattle being fed and moved and the adjacent field being ploughed. The driveway and garden were not fully fenced or gated from the farm and road. The house was not far from many pretty villages and towns. There were no shops or restaurants in the village. We drove out each day to markets, shops and riverside views. We got roast chicken pre ordered from a campsite cafe/shop just a few km along the river. Our outings to the Robert Tatin museum, the Refuge de l'arche (like a zoo) and river beach on the Loire were enjoyed by the whole family.
