Le Mesnil - Collection La 21ème Planche

😊: Excellent rural location, quiet and yet perfectly positioned for access to Bayeux and the Normandy Landing Beaches and museums, just minutes away. The property has been well renovated, retaining its original character. It was clean and spacious, ideal for 4 adults.. 😢: The bedrooms would benefit from additional storage space, especially a chest of drawers; there was nowhere to put clothes that weren’t on hangers - we had to live out of our suitcases for the length of the stay. The upstairs rooms need a mirror. The stone staircase would be safer with a handrail installed..

😊: The apartment is located just outside Bayeux, a short drive from the town. It’s a really beautiful building and we loved the farm feel. It’s an excellent base for enjoying Bayeux as well as for visiting the Normandy beaches. The bedrooms are huge and can accommodate a very large family, although we found the living area a bit small in comparison (which wasn’t an issue for us). Our hosts were wonderful, gracious and friendly. And communication was easy and responsive. On our host’s recommendation we had dinner at Le Moulin de la Galette … and it was excellent. Overall, we all loved our stay here and would highly recommend.. 😢: A few minor touches would have improved our stay, like having shower gel or soap in the bathrooms, and having a few kitchen essentials (tin foil, baking paper, dishwasher tabs, etc.) which we needed to buy when we cooked..
