Le Monastère - Collection La 21ème Planche

😊: Location. 😢: A fan would have been great as no A/C, Curtains in lounge for privacy from the road and passing pedestrians..

😊: Downstairs facilities were very good. Good kitchen equipment. Comfy sofa. 😢: It would have been nice to have a welcome pack eg milk, bread, wine, biscuits... Upstairs bedrooms were a bit cramped.

😊: The location was excellent - within walking distance of everything in Bayeux, but in a quiet corner. The living / dining area was spacious and the apartment was well equipped. It was very secure within a gated apartment block, in a very nice old building.. 😢: The bedrooms are very small and the ensuite bathroom in one of the bedrooms was extremely small. The beds felt a bit 'tired' and the bedding in one room smelled a bit sour, as if it had not been aired. The upstairs was definitely not to the same standard as downstairs. Whilst the size of the rooms can't be changed, they would be improved by updated bedding, towels and better clothes storage.

😊: Spacious, bright, and airy ground floor. Good security. Well equipped kitchen.. 😢: Staircase was quite steep. Very limited hanging and storage space for clothes..

The location of the property suited our needs very well, but locating the property was difficult. Even neighbors didn't know where it was. I would suggest sharing a picture of the street view and entrance gate to help with location. Also, being from the USA, I didn't realize that "first floor" is actually upstairs. The stairs to the bedrooms were steep for carrying luggage. The kitchen was very well equipped and living room comfortable. While there are technically two bathrooms, one toilet is separate and located downstairs. Property was very clean and I would still stay here again.
