Dommage Très bel endroit extérieur, dans un cadre naturel, le propriétaire est vraiment très sympathique. La propreté du gîte n'est pas au rendez-vous, la cuisine est vraiment sale et les ustensiles collants de graisse les sanitaires laisse aussi à désirer, nous n'avons pas pu utiliser les barbecues au gaz et au charbon de bois qui étaient dans un état horrible, impossible à utiliser tellement ils etaient remplis de graisse et de rouille, Nous avons du effectuer beaucoup de nettoyage avant de nous sentir un peu à l'aise , l'électricité n'est pas au normes, c'est même dangereux ds la douche ! Les étendoirs à linge etaient remplis de poussière et toiles d'araignées…

A perfect stay The Gite was exactly as advertised and a perfect temperature considering the very cold weather. It was very comfortable and well appointed with everything you would need. The location is excellent and was central for visiting all the interesting sites in the vicinity. Parking was private and very secure. The best feature was the owner Phillipe who could not have been friendlier or more helpful. He spent a morning showing us round the mill which was one of the highlights of our trip.

Fantastic welcome in a rural retreat I would strongly recommend this location and will happily stay there again. The location is rural, but within easy driving distance of central Reims. The house (gite) is large, with sleeping room for 8 people across 2 floors, and a ground floor kitchen living room. We came as a family and the kids had the opportunity to discharge all of their pent up energy. We did day trips to Reims and through the main Champagne making region (all by car). The owner has a fascination with patrimoine and local history. Over many years he has renovated the mill on the site, and will happily give guided tours for free to anyone staying on the property. This is a well executed passion project and well worth visiting.
