Le Moulin à Vent

Lovely windmill located in hilltop spot. Accommodation was clean and contained everything we needed for our stay. Views are stunning including to the Jura, Alps and Mont Blanc on clearer days. We hired bikes from Cluny and cycled along the local greenway and enjoyed great walks at the Roche de Solutre and Mont Beuvray. The Musee Beaux Arts in Dijon and Musée Nicéphore Niépce in Chalon-sur-soane are both free and well worth a visit.

beautiful surrondings , alone on top of a hill , away from it all yet so close to a lovely village. very well maintained property with everthing included to make your stay memorable . host sees to it that you are well informed of what goes on in the area , things to do and see.. would love to go again for an even longer stay

Wir können uns den vorhergehenden Bewertungen nur anschließen, die Mühle ist traumhaft. Die Lage in der Nähe der vierspurigen Route nationale 80 (ca. 200m Luftlinie) hat allerdings einen Nachteil: Die Straße ist permanent als Hintergrundrauschen zu hören. Es ist zwar nicht direkt laut, aber von Stille kann keine Rede sein, da haben wir im Burgund schon an sehr viel stilleren Orten gewohnt. Wer geräuschempfindlich ist, sollte Ohrenstöpsel einpacken. Weil sonst wirklich alles gestimmt hat, geben wir trotzdem fünf Sterne.

Diese einzigartige, wunderbar restaurierte Mühle konnten wir 2 Wochen genießen. Herrlicher freier Rundumblick Morgensonne beim Frühstück, untergehende Abendsonne beim Abendessen, traumhafter Sternenhimmel. Es war alles dabei. Die Mühle ist perfekt restauriert mit vielen liebevollen Details, Küche, Bad alles einwandfrei, traumhaftes Bett unter der Kuppel. Die Lage ist optimal, um das Burgund zu erkunden, sowohl nördlich bis Dijon, als auch südlich bis Macon, alles seht lohnend. Wunderbare Radtouren durch die Weinberge und Weindörfer, nette Lokale in der Umgebung... ,viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen. Vielen Dank an Yvane und Stephàne für diese wunderbare Unterkunft.

Fantastic away from it all stay in a beautifully restored windmill. Even though we were only 400m from the nearest village , the hilltop location gave a wonderful feeling of isolation from the outside world . Stephane our host was most helpful and accommodating . The property is totally unique over 4 floors with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The custom made bed was extremely comfortable and the view without even getting up was amazing. The mill is well equipped , had plenty of hot water, a good shower and kitchen/ cooking facilities if you want to self cater . If you are a couple looking for a peaceful relaxing holiday I can't recommend Le Moulin a Vent highly enough.

Pure Erholung und Einsamkeit, aber dennoch nicht ab vom Schuss. Zauberhafte Windmühle mit viel Liebe zum Detail von Stéphane und Yvane restauriert. Die beiden sind super nett -Ein- und Auschecken war sehr angenehm. Volle Empfehlung ohne Einschränkungen. Danke für einen sensationellen Urlaub!
