Le Moulin de L'O - L'Orle Rose

😊: It is just glorious - the way the house is, the details, the hosts and the area around it.

😊: What a wonderful few nights. The property is a little hard to drive to, but we were given excellent instructions in advance. When we arrived, Olivier was there to meet us. What a great host. He gave us a great breakdown of the property and where to eat etc. The property itself is in a magical spot - by the Armancon River. You can hear the rush of the river, and watch the ducks out the window. It is superbly fitted out with quality items - great crockery and cutlery, cooking appliance., And the little things like monogrammed pillows and tea towels. A very comprehensive guide in both French and English is provided. And all in all, a very comfortable place. The property is close to the town - but could be miles away. You have no sense that the town is only a 5 minute walk away (albeit up a steep drive - much easier to walk back down after a good night out!). 😢: Nothing - it was perfect!.

😊: What an amazing place to stay with the most wonderful views of the river in a quiet oasis. Only minutes from the historic town. We felt we had found a hidden gem. We received a warm welcome from Olivier, who took us on a tour of the property including the beautiful grounds. Waking up and opening the window to the sound of the river and hear the birds song was a real treat. My husband did some fishing and had such fun. Such love and attention has been put into creating somewhere very special, the attention to detail is wonderful. Very clean and everything you need for a great stay. We can't wait to disconnect from the world and visit again.. 😢: I didn't like that we had to leave, wanted to stay longer..
