Great location! Very friendly owner who is also very helpful. I can only recommend this location. The atmosphere is quite unique.

Our family of 14 (9 adults, 4 children, 1 baby) spent the Christmas holidays in this beautiful home, and we had such a wonderful time that we're already planning to come back. There were truly no problems with our entire stay, and we were amazed at the fine quality of everything inside. Large kitchen, beautiful bed linens, a huge fireplace with firewood, horses for the kids to pet and bicycles for them to ride, very comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, even decorated for Christmas! We were able to take walks in the trails behind the house and take pleasant day trips to the surrounding villages. Groceries were close, 5 minutes drive into town. The best part was Marilou and Philippe, who supplied us with maps, ideas, flammekuchen, and were extremely easy and responsive to work with in planning for our stay. We could not recommend this home highly enough and are grateful for the magical Christmas memories. Thank you Marilou and Philippe!

We spent a wonderful week here with friends. The home and property are absolutely beautiful! Owners Marie-Louise and Philippe have invested great loving care into making this the perfect vacation home. The house and kitchen are fully equipped with many amenities for a very comfortable stay, and easy cooking and entertaining for a large group. Our children loved playing in the streams on the grounds, and also enjoyed the ping-pong table and games room. Walking and hiking trails in the area are well marked. The convenience to Strasbourg and other towns & historic sites/castles made it easy to take fun day trips. There is quick access to a large grocery store, yet the property truly sits in a very quiet, scenic area surrounded by nature. We had the perfect combination of relaxation and adventure. The multi-lingual owners are also very kind and interesting people. We had the pleasure of visiting with them for one evening and thoroughly enjoyed their company & stories! It would have been lovely to spend more time with them, but they are very respectful of the privacy of guests - so while they also live on the property and make themselves easily available for questions or needs, they were rarely seen. One notice: It is useful to know the layout of the rooms. There are two large 'master bedrooms' each with a private bathroom on the second floor (these have small showers). On the third floor are the remaining six bedrooms and only one full bathroom. Here at least the toilet is in a separate room from the bathtub and shower, but six double rooms do share one bathroom on the third floor. The remaining shower and 2 toilets are on the ground floor. I highly recommend this fabulous vacation home for large families or groups of close friends! We will gladly return.

We stayed in the house 6 nights, we were 8 adults and 5 children and we were their for holiday.the house owners were really really nice and kind, when we arrived they showed us the house and let us know how things works and gave us their numbers so we can contact them whenever need anything! They gave us the permission to use everything in the house even the food in the house ( we have used some sugar for the tea and sirop for the pancake ) we felt as living at home. the pictures here are the same in real life. The house is very clean and big enough for 4 small families or even more! towels and paper are available in bathrooms and there is a laundry room to take care of your clothes! also there is nice piano for how care. The garden is super nice with 2 horses and the green space outside the house even you can see some cows beside the house everyday! There is a big supermarket near the house with 5 mins driving! Even it is nice to stay a day or days in the house without moving elsewhere because it has activities such as ( ping pong, cycling and the lovely garden to have your BBQ ). The only disadvantage of the house is when you want to go out to visit other cities ( we were living in the border of france and we were driving to Germany to visit places and cities it took us a little while reaching there) However, The house is great but the owners are greater ;) for me i'm thinking now to stay there again and again i loved this house and the owners too
