The Panorama itself is a well appointed maisonette inside the gated enclave with a big garden at the back of the Musee de Beaux Arts and North Portal of The Chartres Cathedral (Patriarhs and Prophets, the story of Job portrayed on the lintens).The property boasts the unrivalled view of the lower part of the city, fully furnished kitchen, a large screen TV and a spacious bed and a proper two seater sofa that could be turned into a couchette. Most amazing feature though are wooden beams , obviously a few centuries old harmoniously joined with all high tech equipment I.e. an excellent WIFI, Digital TV of modern age. The neighbouring area boasts a beautiful building of a Magistrate Court and a Historic Prison dating back to Napoleon era at rue de Lisses which is nearby, as if straight from film shoot location for one of Bernard Taverner movies.Cathedral is best viewed after dark when Cine Lumiere commences which projects fantastic colours onto the medieval building making it an unforgettable experience.
