😊: Great location: The apartment is very central — just steps away from the tram, the main square full of restaurants, bakeries, and supermarkets. Interior style: The décor is exactly as pictured — eclectic, cute, and well-curated, giving the space a nice atmosphere. Kitchen equipment: The kitchen is well-equipped and functional. Welcome gift: We appreciated the complimentary bottle of red wine, which was a nice touch.. 😢: Misleading listing: This is called a “loft,” but it is in fact a converted shop at street level. Privacy is low unless you fully close the blinds (which then blocks natural light). Noise & air circulation: Being at street level, you hear cars and pedestrians late into the night. The large shop window only has a very small section that can open, so airflow is poor and the space felt stuffy. Dust & cleanliness issues: Cleaning seemed very superficial. There was visible dust on surfaces, hairpins with hair in the bathroom, a very dirty shower head, and even a tote bag with socks left behind — all signs of poor attention to detail. W head to wash all glasses and crockery before using them as they were clearly poorly cleaned. Amenities not as advertised: The listing mentioned an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer — none of which were present. When asked, the host admitted the iron was an error and said it would be removed, and insisted the hairdryer was there (it wasn’t). Defensive host response: When I raised concerns about dust (which triggered my asthma) and about the iron and hairdryer (which we actually needed for our stay) the host was defensive rather than apologetic or proactive. Mistakes and oversights happen, but what makes a difference in hospitality is how the host handles them. Unfortunately I could only share a maximum of 4 pictures, but I would have more to share and prove the authenticity of my comments..

😊: The location and the decent facilities in the appartement.. 😢: When a guest indicates that something does not work properly, for instance when the light sensor in the toilet does not work at night -when needed the most, it is not very polite to presume that the guest is wrong. This is especially strange since the house rules of the apartment clearly stated that guest should contact the owner when something is not working properly..
