Le Petit Jardin, proche gare, hyper centre

😊: The location was very central with all local amenities nearby. Parking was easy. The building was quite grand and the apartment was thoughtfully laid out and equipped - every inch of space was well used. Good views from the skylight. There was plenty of useful info available in the apartment guide and wifi, TV etc all modern and working well.. 😢: The common areas left rather a bit to be desired which we realise isn't the host's fault. The stairs, corridors etc. were a bit tired in parts and looked to be in need of cheering up. There were a few unpleasant cooking smells. Some of the light fittings were broken. It's a shame that access to the roof terrace was not possible - realise that might be for safety reasons but would have been a nice feature. None of this spoiled our stay but brought the overall rating down a point or two..

😊: The location. 😢: The Velux roof window was wide open when we arrived, presumably to air the apartment. However, I couldn't close it at all. The wind was fairly strong and the draft was constant and cold. Someone taller and stronger might have managed to close it but I couldn't. There was an issue with the toilet cistern which on 3 occasions failed to stop refilling as water was dribbling into the bowl.. I had to reset the dual flush plunger to correct it. The info on the website states that a kettle is provided. There was no kettle at the site. Had these 3 issues not been present my review would have been very positive..

😊: Clean, comfortable, central location within 2mins walk to main square.. 😢: Slight problem with access but solved..

😊: It's a very nice place to spend a night. Close to city center, comfortable and clean. 😢: It's too small for a family.
