Le petit nid d'aigle - Giverny

😊: It is a unique artsy attic space right in the heart of Monet’s Giverny. The location is perfect, great bistros and cafes are two minutes away and yet it is calm and tranquil with free parking even in August. Veronique was a lovely host and very helpful with our checking in and out timings. A quirky and authentic stay where you are able to buy incredible art work, (we were lucky as Valerie Prats had an exhibition whilst we were there) book art lessons from Veronique ( if we’d had more time we would’ve done this) or watch unbelievable piano recitals given by world a renowned pianist, Hugues Rainer, who you later bump into walking his cat! This place is a delight!. 😢: My husband and I aren’t the tallest of people, so it might be fair to say if you are very tall or large or struggle with mobility that it mightn’t be the right choice, but for us - tout etait bien! Merci Veronique!.

😊: Véronique is easy to get in touch with and flexible with check in time when our train was delayed. Her place has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. It is at an attic but actually quite spacious. The shower has great water pressure. The location is unbeatable, you are right in the village. However the shower is quite transparent so be sure you go with someone you are very comfortable with! Veronique is very kind and hospitable and made our stay wonderful..

😊: Self catering. 😢: All attractions closed until April, my mistake with checking dates. Far from city centre.would need a car bus etc.

😊: Veronique is a very helpful, delightful host; she went above and beyond to add to our stay in Giverny. (Her English is excellent which also helps!) The location is excellent for ready access to Monet gardens, restaurants, shopping, etc. The room is cozy and has a well supplied kitchen if needed.. 😢: The layout is a bit awkward; the shower and bathroom within the room limits any kind of privacy. However, a 2nd bathroom is readily available if needed..
