Le petit Valhalla

Parking was easy and felt safe. Lots of room in the unit to spread out. Appreciative of laundry facilities.

Our host was very helpful with getting situated, and was patient with my “Apple Translate French. It is a charming “gite” within easy walking distance of shopping and restaurants.

Damien, the owner & host, is a very nice person. However, his interaction with guests needs some work. He needs to introduce himself when you first knock on the door & meet him. It would be nice if he provided a brief walk-through of the home. It would be nice if he provided information on area restaurants and sites. It would be nice if he provided directions on how to operate the washing machine & dryer. (All the on-machine information is in abbreviated French.) The water to the washer had been turned off and accidentally left off. We discovered this after doing a load and realizing the clothes were dry. It would be nice to have shampoo and/or bath gel. It would be nice to have paper towels.The accommodations are very nice, with a few slight improvements, it would be a 10 out of 10.

Aanrader! Perfect locatie en ruim...<br>#128578; De locatie is perfect!! Heel fijn, ruim huis om te verblijven. Voorzien van alle comfort! Wij waren te vroeg en konden onze bagage al opbergen. Ze waren heel behulpzaam. Zeker een aanrader!!<br>#128577; -

Exceptionnel<br>#128578; Le calme et la situation de ce gîte confortable, ainsi que sa grande salle de séjour qui nous a permis, avec l'accord de notre hôte, d'inviter pour une soirée pizza-ouverture des JO nos enfants qui étaient à l'hôtel.<br>#128577; Rien, tout était parfait : le cadre, l'équipement.... Un regret : ne pas avoir rencontré nos hôtes, absents à ce moment là.

Voortreffelijk<br>#128578; Wij bezochten Bayeux om met twee kleinkinderen de landingsstranden, musea, kerkhoven etc te bezoeken. De ligging is daarvoor ideaal. Het huis is comfortabel, van alle gemakken voorzien, de bedden zijn prima.<br>#128577; -

Außergewöhnlich<br>#128578; Das Haus ist schön, alles da was man braucht. Die Lage sehr zentral in der Stadt, und wir waren erstaunt, daß es trotzdem ruhig war. Bayeux ist ein tolles Städtchen und in der Umgebung kann man viel machen. In der Nähe gab es einen öffentlichen Parkplatz, man musste alle 4 Std. die Parkscheibe weiterdrehen und konnte dann kostenfrei parken. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
