Le Petit Volcan

Le Petit Volcan is at the top of hillside village of Montpeyroux. Access is along narrow steep one way streets, the last of which has a sign restricting access, but we just followed the GPS right to the entrance gate. The owner greeted us and showed us the parking (unloaded the suitcases right by the door to our room) and after showing us our room (accommodation was perfect) showed us how to get to the two nearby restaurants. Zen was good! Great breakfast and again welcoming hosts.

We stopped for one night to break a long journey. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and clean. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. We were served with an excellent continental breakfast. The village is picturesque and well worth a wander around the little streets. We intend to return to explore the surrounding area.
