😊: Good instructions and communication from the owner. Good location, close to the harbour and for visiting the D Day memorials, comfortable beds, spacious, although not exclusively for guests as described in the advertised text.. 😢: The property is advertised as exclusive to guests which clearly not true. The basement is occupied by someone who clearly likes to play very loud music at various times throughout the day, sometimes starting before 7.0am, it was awful for us and I would hate to think of a family with children staying there. The whole contents of the house were very dated and tired and need replacing. Two extractor fans neither one working. The shower was disgusting, filled with white silicone which had turned brown through neglect and the extraction fan was nearly fully blocked with dust. In the lounge, 7 out of 10 of the wall lights did not work, the patio door leading out on the balcony could barely be opened due to lack of maintenance and being dirty along its runners. In the hallway bare cables hanging from the ceiling and a cupboard stuffed with old unfolded cloths. The kitchen had a kettle that did not turn itself off and some of the unit doors dropped when opened. It would have been nice to sit on the balcony and watch the world pass bye, but this was made difficult by the large overgrown conifers immediately in front of the balcony, along with the old dated furniture and being disgustingly dirty we didn’t bother. The entrance door was exceptionally difficult to lock and because of this it sometimes had to be left unlocked. Outside the gardens and driveway were overgrown and unkempt..

😊: The location from the port as we arrived on the late ferry. Spacious apartment with parking 🅿️. 😢: Just the shower, not big enough!!.

😊: Perfect location for visiting the landing beaches and museums. Only a few hundred metres from the ferry port. Fantastic for cycling enthusiasts..
