Le Pigeonnier de Lamiquelle

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine dans le" pigeonnier", maison charmante et très confortable, grande piscine au milieu d'une magnifique propriété! Belle rencontre avec Mme Pilat et de sa famille qui nous ont accueillis chaleureusement. Leurs conseils nous ont guidés vers les plus beaux villages de France et leurs environs. Évidement, nous avons faits une cure de produits locaux , remise en forme immédiate! La découverte de la région, que nous ne connaissions pas, mérite vraiment le détour! Nous espérons y revenir.....

We had a very happy, peaceful week here enjoying the garden, Madame Pillat's nice swimming pool and the local countryside. We went on several nice circular walks in the neighbourhood as well as exploring the many beautiful historic towns and villages in the area. There are very good restaurants nearby and you can find a market selling local produce somewhere nearby almost every day. The house was immaculate and Madame Pillat and her charming daughter were most kind and helpful with their suggestions for places to see and things to do.

Un lieu charmant, une maison agréable et bien aménagée, au calme. Une belle piscine (à partager avec la propriétaire) dans un beau jardin bien entretenu. Et surtout, un accueil chaleureux et de bons conseils pour la découverte de la région (guides, cartes à disposition). Nous avons apprécié les légumes du potager offerts par la propriétaire et nous la remercions.

You cannot help but find peace and tranquility in this beautifully landscaped and charming property. Surrounded by farmland and woods, you wake up to the birds singing and may see a deer or two in the fields. The kind owner will help you with whatever you may need and may also tell you something about the history of the area. Don't miss the Abbey Church and cloisters at Moissac! And if you're using a GPS, put in "La Miquelle" as the street address rather than "Lamiquelle"

Beautiful quiet setting with views across the rolling countryside. Lovely cottage with home comforts and simple decoration---good outside private space. Swimming pool in private fenced off area--pretty gardens and safe. Excellent restaurants in neighbouring villages. Annette --the owner was most helpful and kind with many suggestions of visits or restaurants. I would recommend to all.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour d'été dans le pigeonnier. Malgré la chaleur extérieure nous étions au frais à l'intérieur car c'est une belle construction robuste en pierre. L'ameublement est fait avec goût et est tout à fait confortable avec une literie de qualité. L'accueil par la propriétaire est très sympathique. Et l'endroit est magnifique avec cette belle vue sur la campagne ainsi que la piscine dans un écrin de verdure.
