Le Pressoir de la Laize

Peaceful and authentic We spent two lovely weeks in this wonderful gite. The owner greeted us even before we arrived and was very thoughtful in helping us prepare for our trip. We loved the large enclosed garden with a small river and large trees providing the sounds of nature (babbling water, birds, rustling wind) to soothe and bring rest. The long hallway with the bedrooms is a very pleasant place to read. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable. You can easily walk to a bakery, butcher, small grocery and pharmacy. There is even a nice esthetics salon for an extra treat. The area is full of great places to visit. We can definitely recommend this place. Thank you very much!

Beautiful house in a lovely village The setting is beautiful, in the grounds of an enormous estate and a 2 minute walk from a really charming village. The house is clean, comfortable and full of interesting corners but the garden is the truly amazing part. We had so many adventures exploring it and every meal outside in the shade. Charles provided a very warm welcome and was very attentive with communication. Recommend!

Lovely house, well equipped We had a lovely time in this large, authentic house. The kitchen was fully equipped and exceeded our expectations. Everything had been thought of. There were games and outdoor toys for the children. It is a pity that the wooden floor on the landing creaks; it is quite noisy with small children waking up early. Because there are no screens, flies and other insects quickly fly inside when the weather is nice and the doors are open. The large, quietly situated garden was delightful. Enough sigt-seeing within 30-60 minutes drive.
