😊: The apartment is recently renovated to a good standard and is located in an oldish block of apartments close to the beach and town center. The instructions for collecting the keys were very detailed and clear - and kindly thanked us for booking an Airbnb! I didn't - I booked through Booking.com. When I tried to speak on the phone to the Concierge they claimed not to speak English and insisted I contacted them via Booking.com messages. We never had a face to face meeting with anybody - a first with my long history in using Booking.com to book holiday apartments!. 😢: We booked the apartment for two weeks. The kitchen, whilst extremely well equipped, is far too small for preparing and cooking meals. We were never able to get the TV to work. Also, we were never able to get the dishwasher to work. We struggled to get the WiFi to work on our Apple iphones and iPad. The phones/ipad seemed to connect to the WiFi but our handsets were not connecting to the internet. Our phones and ipad worked perfectly at a local coffee shop that had public wifi. The book of instructions in the house are in French without any English or other language explanation. There is a good size balcony but the chairs are not comfortable for relaxing in for any length of time. Also, there was no fan or cooling during the heatwave! The property advertises parking on site. There is parking on a grass area to the left of the garages and is difficult to access. It is not a big space and the photograph in the instruction book indicates it is for two cars! I have a family size SUV and it would be impossible to to fit two cars of similar size in the parking space available. All the local streets were rammed with parked cars so parking during busy holiday times would be a real issue. Given these experiences, in my opinion, the rental price is exorbitant and does not represent value for money..
