Le Puits, 19c house in the grounds of the Manor

Another wonderful stay at Manoir du Bourg in Saint Hélen. Nothing is too much trouble for Laure and David, our hosts. We'll be back!

In april/may of this year we (4 adult Dutch people) had a great week in Le Puits. Laure and David are extremely friendly and hospitable. One evening we made use of Laure’s cooking skills and it was all very tasty. They also provided fantastic wines. The house is very attractive and has been furnished with respect for its history. The beds are long and wide enough and comfortable. The kitchen is good but could have been a little more open towards the living room and/or outside (for coziness). The location of the house is wonderfully quiet, but there is plenty to do and experience. We can really recommend the house.

We love everything about Le Puits. Owners on site are lovely and friendly but very discreet. The pool is great as is the location.

A beautiful property in a lovely part of France. Excellent, friendly hosts and lots of pleasant surprises throughout the week. Would highly recommend.

Laure and David made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We have been to the property many times pre lockdown but this year was the first year with the new owners and we liked the improvements made in the short time they have been in place. I would like top be able to access the pool earlier than 10 a.m.
