My travel plan was to both Colmar and Strasboug, this place is somewhere in between, the host is very nice to talk to and helpful. The flat is very nice, clean and cosy, because I drive an EV, there's a charging point next to the flat, you can use charge-point card to top up your range.

Very comfortable spacious apartment. Spotlessly clean. We appreciated that the basic supplies were all provided. No rushing out to the shops to buy essentials on arrival. Met our expectations. Wonderful Michelin star restaurant 100m away. Good boulangerie and small supermarket in next village short drive away.

This is a lovely apartment above the home of the owners, Jean-Paul and Martine. It is about 900 sq. ft, quite large! For someone who wants a little escape to the mountains it is absolutely perfect and in the morning the sun rises just out your window and you can see the castle on the hill. Beautiful!

C'est dans une belle maison bleue accrochée à la colline (comme dit la chanson) que nous avons découvert cet appartement de toute beauté. Les matériaux choisis pour la décoration donne l'ambiance d'un chalet à Megève. Tout est fait avec goût et soin. L'appartement est grand, propre et très fonctionnel. Les lits sont confortables et le système des alcôves dans la pièce principale, bien pensé. C'est un havre de paix qui nous ferait presque oublier que nous sommes venus pour prendre l'air, marcher et visiter les environs. On s'y sent comme chez soi. La maison est entourée de beaux jardins et de forêts. Les amoureux de la nature sont comblés en venant ici. Idéal pour se ressourcer. Je vous le recommande.

What a charming location to spend our time. We couldn't have been happier. The apartment is even more beautiful than the photos. The location in a quiet village is serene and relaxing with beautiful views from every window. We loved the gazebo in the garden and spent lots of time there too. True there are no shops in La Vancelle, but two very good restaurants, one with a Michelin star. There are shops just a short drive away in another village. The location is a short drive to the wine route and we enjoyed visiting the nearby town of Selestat. We were most impressed by the organization and thoughtfulness of the owners. They seem to have thought of everything. Their attention to detail is amazing. They were not in residence during our stay but called to make sure everything was in order. All the information we needed was in a folder in the living room, so we had no additional questions. The large bathtub was wonderful to relax away the days hiking and there was plenty of hot water too. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will definitely return.
