😊: I feel that if there wasn't a heatwave we would have found the apartment perfect. As it was 36° outside being on the 4th floor with a small fan wasn't enough. Everything we needed really.. 😢: Having to pick the key up from a different location 10 mins walk away is a massive faff. If we were driving that would still be annoying..

😊: -. 😢: This was, without a doubt, the worst accommodation experience we've had in over 15 years of traveling. The apartment was filthy from the moment we arrived: the floor hadn't been cleaned, the bed sheets had hair on them, and the pillowcases clearly hadn't been changed — they still smelled strongly of someone else's perfume. The toilet was visibly dirty, and overall it was obvious that no proper cleaning had been done before our check-in. We immediately contacted the host and reported the situation to Booking.com. We were told that someone would come the next day to clean — no one ever showed up. Booking.com, instead of taking responsibility or helping us relocate, told us we were free to find another place ourselves, but we'd lose the money we already paid. Their "solution" was a laughable 10% discount if we booked another place through them. To make things even worse, the location is right at one of the busiest intersections in Colmar. The constant noise from traffic made it absolutely impossible to get any rest. This was a completely unacceptable experience on all levels — poor hygiene, zero accountability, and total indifference from both the host and Booking.com. I would strongly advise others to avoid this listing, and I am seriously reconsidering ever using Booking.com again after this..
