The apartment met our needs for a brief stay in Rouen. It was not fancy, but adequate.

Sébastien and Christophe were super hosts. We stayed in the apartment for almost three months and every time we contacted them because we needed something or had a question, they responded very quickly. The same was true before we arrived when Sébastien answered every inquiry within hours. My husband and I are trying to learn French, and he was very patient with all our mistakes. The apartment was spacious and well-equipped, and was just what the photos on the website showed. The washing machine is a real bonus for someone who is staying for a longer visit. Having trekked to the laundromat on many previous occasions, we were thrilled to find the apartment equipped with the washer and a drying rack for hanging the clothes. We didn’t use the dishwasher much for the two of us, but it was nice to have when we had company and it worked well. I was a little worried about being in a first floor apartment before we arrived, but the security is great. The windows are like one-way mirrors so that we could see out and get light into the apartment, but no one knew we were there. It was actually an amusing to watch people combing their hair or applying their makeup in front of our "mirror". The apartment is right on a major bus line that goes straight to the center city. The same bus took us directly to French in Normandy, the school where we were enrolled as foreign language learners to try to learn French. For younger, more agile visitors, both the downtown and the school are about a 20 minute walk from the apartment (in opposite directions). The apartment is also close to one of the major metro lines that also goes to the downtown. This is the fourth time that we have rented an apartment in France for a 3 to 5 month stay. This was by far our best experience. We highly recommend the apartment with no reservations.

Though situated in a neighborhood a bit far away from the center, the space itself is large and open with all the amenities that you could need. The flat is well maintained and clean.The kitchen was well stocked for most small cooking needs. There is a market across the street and a boulangerie around the corner. The living room and bedroom windows face the street, and see a lot of foot traffic - though the windows are not two-way, there are constantly people visible outside. Would recommend staying here if you don't mind a short 15 min walk to the center of town.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Sebastien's apartment. The booking of the apartment and the stay were perfect. Sebastien was a kind host who took the time to pick us up from the train station, introduce us to the apartment and even leave us two nice umbrellas on a rainy day. The apartment was quite spacious, comfortable and quiet after a long day of activities. The amenities in the kitchen were perfect! Close to all activities. Sebastien has a wonderful and spacious apartment with a great location close to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. A pleasant walk across the Seine to the center of the city and easy access to public transportation. There is a secure parking area if you are driving. Since we spent a week, it was a plus to have a washing machine. I highly recommend this apartment and would return for another visit.
