😊: Location is perfect. Great rooms and comfortable beds.

😊: Excellent location with parking in the center of Reims. Suitable for 6 or even 10 persons. Nice old house fully equiped with large space for dining and seating in the ground floor.. 😢: Interaction by phone before coming to Reims was not possible. We were a bit confused, whether we can enter the house and where to get keys. After I paid the deposit of 500 eur which I wasn't aware before, when and how to pay it, I got full instructions to my phone literally in the one minut. At that time we were 100 meters away from the house. I thought for a minute while driving the last kilometers before Reims that it might be a scam. Fortunately it wasn't and our stay was memorable..

😊: The home was very spacious and has a nice authentic feel to it. We are a family of 7 including two small children and the space worked well for us. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped. The location was great - we could walk everywhere from the house. But there was a major downside to this …. 😢: There were many issues that we had with our stay - some of which was not able to be controlled by the owner/managers but they needed to do more to make it work for us. We were there for 8 nights - and it was not inexpensive to stay there. Basics were not provided in terms of handwash, soap, shampoo etc. One hotel style var of soap in each bathroom lasted a day. We were there for the European heatwave. Unfortunately only the top three bedrooms were air conditioned and there were no fans provided. That in itself would have been bearable if we could have opened all the windows on the second level (2 bedrooms). But we could not due to street noise from Lubbers. The central locations means that there are a number of bars and clubs on the street that do not shut until 3 am 4 nights a week and 1am on Wednesdays. The noise from the partiers was unbelievable at didn’t stop until 5 or 6am. So all windows and shutters had to be shut with earplugs in - so we sweltered and were very grumpy by the end! The owners did not provide fans when requested nor extra towels and tea towels. It could have been perfect…..

😊: This house is spacious with a lovely courtyard. Comfortable beds and two rooms with air conditioning. We really enjoyed our stay despite missing some basic supplies. Close to the restaurant precinct and a pleasant 10 minute walk to the cathedral. 😢: Shower glass screen was dirty. The courtyard while lovely had dying plants and cigarette butts. Also you need your own toiletries. There was only one small soap bar each. If you intend to cook, the kitchen is missing some basics.
