Le Sailhet, maison de vacances

😊: Location was good and so were the views.. 😢: It wasn't until two days after my cancellation date when I was informed that there were no sheets or towels provided but I could pay 8euro per bed if I wanted them to supply the sheets. Also told there was a 60euro cleaning fee. Then a second message said, sorry, no sheets. Then a third message said yes to sheets at 8euro but still no towels. Very confusing and a little too late to be telling us this. I could not find that info anywhere on their website nor info on the cleaning fee! Had someone who spoke french call them and figure out what was going on. At this point, too late to change hotels. Had a hard time finding the house because there are no house numbers but we did finally manage based on the photo of the house online. Told we would be met at 4pm by the owner's father. At 4:20, no one showed so we texted the owner. She said the door was unlocked and key inside. Why couldn't they have texted that earlier instead of having us wait. Went inside and unloaded all of our luggage and made the beds. Twenty minutes later, her father shows up and tells us we went into the wrong apartment. How were we to know!! No instructions as to which of the three was ours and the first one had an unlocked door. He told us to stay and he would have the other renters take the middle house. We could not get the clothes washer door to open after pulling hard and the owners dad was able to open once then couldn't do it again so sadly, we could not wash our clothes. Gently pulled the chain on upstairs blinds in bedroom and it fell right off the wall. Looked like it was only taped on. The house itself was clean and relatively new so that was good. Liked having the outside deck. Too many other issues so I can't say I would rent there again..
