😊: The location was excellent—right in the center of Mulhouse, with everything within walking distance. The furniture, while not new, was decent and functional. Communication with the host or agent was also excellent—quick, polite, and helpful throughout the stay.. 😢: Cleanliness was clearly below standard. The floor hadn’t been mopped before our arrival... or even for some longer time, there was visible dust in several areas, and the bathroom and toilet had mold spots. There were also leftover potatoes in cupboards from previous guests (possibly), and the fridge had an unpleasant smell. These issues really impacted the comfort of the stay..

😊: The apartment is beautifully furnished as the photos indicate. It was clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook and eat. There were plenty of clean towels (no wash cloths), and clean bed linen. Opening a bedroom window and the living room window provided wonderful brisk cross ventilation. Paragraph: The instructions on PASS-PASS were pretty good, but unclear on a couple of things 1) The lock box contained more than keys, but the instructions didn’t say that! The Indigo Free Parking pass (a plastic card) was so deeply wedged in the lockbox until it looked like part of the structure and was not initially retrieved with the keys. One of the tenets in the lobby of the building kindly explained what the pass looked like and how to use it. 2) We were told that the apt was on the second floor. The elevator had buttons 2, 4, 6, 8, RC, RH. Would you assume that pressing # 2 would take you to the 2nd floor? It doesn’t! The PASS-PASS instructions didn’t not explain that the floor buttons in the elevator are to be used to enter a code number not select a floor. A kid in the lobby showed us how it worked. THE HOSTS WERE NOT ANSWERING OR AVAILABLE TO ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS OR FOR ANY OTHER KIND OF ASSISTANCE!. 😢: I had two telephone numbers for the hosts. I WhatsApp’d, left voice mails, and SMS messages. Days later, I get a text “Did you call me?” I responded to this succinct message, but they never did. So it’s safe to conclude that if you get locked out, or misplaced the one set of keys you are given for multiple adult guests, or if the toilet overflows, or any other matter for which you might need assistance — YOU’RE ON YOUR OWN!.

😊: Great location and comfortable beds.. 😢: Unclear directions for parking space No kettle and no pods etc supplied for the coffee machine. No pans with handles to boil water either. Parts of flat were scruffy Curtains in bedroom didn’t fit so light came through easily.
