Perfect property for a quiet getaway- be mindful of early closing hours for the local market and eateries; otherwise a10km or so drive to nearby town.If there is a need for AC, all windows are operable and allow a healthy breeze.

Problem with this property is almost complete lack of necessary information including that for access and lack of any help when we were stuck in the property for most of a day due to paving of the drive.

This house was ideal for our family vacation to Normandy. The property was exactly as advertised and exceeded our expectations. The host was helpful, friendly, and very responsive. It was the perfect home base to explore the region.

Quiet location, very proximate to Charlie and Dog Green sectors of Omaha Beach. We were there late in the offseason and it served as a great base from which to scout out the American sector of Dday. British/Canadian sectors also not too far away. Only complaint would be dearth of local dining options in the offseason. Really perfect size for our group of 3. Responsive property manager (Beatrice). Would return without a doubt.

A wonderful house! Perfect for a family with kids. We traveled with our family of 4 plus grandpa and grandma. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and we were all comfortable. The location is great for visiting the Normandy beaches, D-Day sites, and other sites throughout Normandy. The village is quiet and small but has a small grocery store with everything you should need. A larger store is only ~18 minutes away. We would love to come back for another visit to Normandy and stay here!

We stayed for 4 nights in September. Séverine met us soon after our arrival. She made sure everything was correct for us and recommended some local restaurants. We ate out 3 nights at Port-en-Bassin and used the property’s own charcoal BBQ the 4th evening. Whilst we were 4 adults the property would suit all ages including those with young children as there is a garden to play in with lots of toys etc. The 3 bedrooms are a good size and the bathroom modern. The sea is close by and both Bayeux and Caen are an easy car ride away. The car ferry at Cherbourg is under 1 hour’s drive. We can strongly recommend staying here on a visit to North Normandy.

Wonderful property- very close to Omaha Beach (walkable with three young kids); grocery store two minute walk away; parking for two cars; easy drive to all major DDay sites; easy access to main roads and autoroute; very responsive host; great amenities in the property. I would stay again and recommend to people. Clean, well stocked, comfortable beds and sitting areas, good kitchen with everything you need and extra. Host left flyers and ideas for local activities such as D-Day events, cidre tastings/tours, restaurants, etc... We stayed with three young kids and they loved it, too. Severine has spectacular properties and goes above and beyond as a host.
