😊: DO NOT STAY HERE. I wasn’t able to stay because there was a health and safety issue when I arrived. This is an outstanding concern raised with Booking. The air con and recent paint seemed to be mixing and causing paint fumes in the studio. Until that is resolved, the owners SHOULD NOT be taking guests. I would ah w been the 1st or 2nd guest. A couple of reviews on Booking and Airbnb show two people stayed for only 1 night. I was a solo female traveler - NOT recommend for solo female travellers and young children due to the owner’s attitude when there is a problem to resolve and be accountable for. I have tried to get my money back for the full week without success so far. While my booking remained active and I stayed elsewhere, the owners had guests to stay via Airbnb where they found double bookings. This is fraudulent behaviour. The owner was also intimidating and rude. He didn’t like that I spoke English and started smoking at the door to the studio with the family crowding around while I tried to get the refund agreed - which they agreed to twice and I have this on voice recording as evidence. After coming off the phone from Booking the evening I arrived, the owners said they told Booking they will refund and asked me when I would be leaving. I said 20 minutes and booked a hotel, so this was the same evening that I arrived. Essentially, they coerced me into leaving and then didn’t refund me and still took money from other guests on Airbnb. The studio is otherwise nicely renovated and there’s a panoramic view. Misrepresentation: The pool is not sole use (differs on Airbnb summary). The door to the studio is onto the owner’s driveway and the bedroom door goes to the owner’s house, so it’s not private if anyone stays in the bedroom.. 😢: Please see above. I am now escalating the issue as this is a legal matter to get it resolved..
