Le tocqueville - Versailles

😊: Spacious property suitable for 3 couples. The property was nicely laid out and well decorated. The beds were comfortable and the property was clean. Great location, views of Versailles palace from apartment, easy walk to the palace and lots of places to eat nearby.. 😢: There are some signs of wear and tear that needs addressing- eg. broken glass in mirrored door. There was nothing available for comfort of guests, no bathroom essentials, no kitchen supplies. I have never stayed anywhere where there was absolutely nothing available for guests. Only one portable air conditioning unit available which was noisy and not adequate for a 3 bedroom property in a very hot Versailles. Easy walk from train stations..

😊: Beautiful, clean, stylish apartment with a lovely view. Within walking distance to the palace which was very handy. Very close to supermarket and shops and train station was right next door.. 😢: Very difficult to find the apartment complex as instructions are not clear at all. We were wandering around for ages trying to find the entrance. The security is amazing but also a bit of a pain as you need a fob to get in and out and there is only 1 fob and set of keys which is inconvenient if there is a group of people. The hallway sliding cupboard door was broken and the plugs in the bathroom sink get stuck when you push them down, the toilet flush is also not great..

They want to charge me for broken things that I proved were already broken when I first got to be apartment. I always record the first time I go in to the place and the last time I leave. And this time wasn’t different, I recorded everything (including the cracked up toilet that I made the point not to use and damage it more). When they contacted me about the toilet I sent them both videos, showing where you could see the crack and ...

Bien<br>#128578; El apartamento está bastante bien y está al lado de la estación del tren, por lo que ir a Paris es muy sencillo. Al Palacio de Versalles son unos 20 minutos a pie, agradable paseo. En la estación hay un supermercado abierto de 6 a 22:00. No tiene mucha oferta ni variedad, pero sí es ok para compras básicas. El apartamento tiene mucha vajilla y está bien surtido con todo lo necesario. Solo tiene 1 baño, pero el hecho de estar separada la ducha del inodoro hace que, pese a ser bastantes personas, ...<br>#128577; La comunicación con el anfitrión, bastante mejorable. Al llegar se supone que habría alguien en el apartamento con las llaves pero no fue así. No contestaban al teléfono. Al final me mandaron un mensaje para recoger las llaves en un locker situado a 15 minutos a pie por lo que tuve a la familia esperando hora y media antes de poder entrar al alojamiento. Confío en que la experiencia haya ayudado a que en casos futuros sea mejor.

The keys needed to be collected from an obscure supermarket and the staff there were particularly rude and unhelpful. The letting company were very unhelpful. We had asked for a cot but it was damaged and didn’t come with any bedding. We were told that we would need to pay extra for bedding but we didn’t realise this until after arrival so had no bedding for the first night. we felt this was completely unacceptable. ...
