We enjoyed our time here.<br>#128578; We enjoyed the beds, how thoughtful the apartment was equipped, the picturesque scenery and the proximity to everything we wanted to see. The hosts were friendly and spoke very good english.<br>#128577; The floors were dusty so that we actually needed houseshoes or shoes in general otherwise one had dirty feet all the time. We think that dust came from the walls. At night the fridge was a bit noisy even after we set it to the lowest setting. Due to the villages popularity, visitors were walking the streets quite often and looked through the windows on the lower level. People that have a problem with climbing steep stairs might have a problem. Parking is a challenge.

Also there are no on site parking but description includes parking space and I contacted owner to verify that I can park minivan. Finally we parked 5 minutes walk away but we were lucky to have space.

Très bien<br>#128578; Logement spacieux avec 2 espaces indépendants avec sdb au rdc et à l'étage. La literie est très confortable et les draps sentaient très bon la Soupline<br>#128577; Le salon du bas n'est pas très confortable et le poêle à granules un peu bruyant et pas évident à utiliser Il manque une patère ou deux dans la sdb

Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist auch im Sommer kühl.<br>#128577; Nur zwei Kleinigkeiten waren nicht gut. Die Böden und Teile der Einrichtung waren staubig. Die Pfannen funktionierten auf dem Induktionsherd nicht.

Le Vieux Fournil was een...<br>#128578; het huis ligt in het historische centrum van het dorp wat de plek heel charmant maakt. De bakker en verschillende restaurantjes waren om de hoek maar in de straat van de woning was het heerlijk rustig. Het huis was oud maar heel smaakvol gerenoveerd, met comfortabele bedden en prima keuken.<br>#128577; Er was geen buitenruimte bij het huis, maar de huisbaas wees ons op de mogelijkheid dat we met een terrastafeltje en stoeltjes op het nabijgelegen pleintje konden zitten, wat heerlijk was.

Authentic french experience<br>#128578; We fell in love with this true french experience of hospitality in a spacious and authentic home. It was a former bakery, and part of the history has been preserved. Like the beams and tile floors are over 200 years old! The house was very clean and well equipped. Washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee maker and cooker were present, but if you don't feel like a chef the beautiful village has enough dining to offer (on the high end). The owner had some great tourist information...<br>#128577; The house didn’t have air-conditioning and because of a bull festival we couldn't always park close by. Which can be challenging in the old narrow streets. But this was part of why it's been such a charming visit in Castillon-du-Gard :)
