"Les appartements de Betty A" Coeur historique

😊: Spacious well equiped and spotless apartment in the centre of Sarlat. Large bed with lovely linen. We had 6 nights here with very few issues.. 😢: A few suggestions rather than dislikes. The bed is extremely hard and could do with a topper pad. The chimney needs to be blocked as the soot smell is distracting. We were told to load the dishwasher before departing - there is none. Having to clear the rubbish at this price point is irritating..

😊: Excellent location for local shops and restaurants with free parking 5 minutes walk away at Place de Cordeliers (84 spaces). (There is another free parking area 100m above Place de Cordeliers with 250 spaces).. 😢: Some large mugs for tea would be a welcome addition..

😊: The instructions sent via booking did not work - a link that said booking not found. Host should be able to use a translation app to deal with foreign guests - I don’t expect anyone to speak English but getting instructions in French telling me to call another person 30 minutes before arrival, and then being told to text, and then being told to meet at the apartments at 3pm is not a good system.. 😢: The apartment is beautiful and looks like the pictures - but no instructions book - no recommendations for local restaurants or anything at all, and no instructions for any appliances- even the tv. In the bedroom a useless chair is in the place where a cupboard for clothes should be. We stayed for 6 nights and felt at home but good hosting would have made this 5 * r stars..
