Les Flamants, 7/9 people, charming, garden and terrace and shared pool

We stayed in the house called "Flamant" which has 3 bedrooms. Looks like the place can be divided in 2 to either accommodate a big group or a smaller family. The dining room was very spacious although we didn't use it as we had our meals outside and TV is in the entrance room which is quite dark but good in the summer I suppose. Kitchen is a big let down, it has dishwasher and washing machine but very small and run down and no storage for dry food. It felt like the place hadn't been lived in for a while as lots of spider webs around. Linen was clean but very old and some had holes in them. Bathrooms are good and a bit more modern. The house will apparently be refurbished next year so worth checking before you book if you are after something a bit more modern looking. The play room felt dirty and we only used it for internet access as wifi didn't work in the house. Outside area could do with some TLC (patchy spots). Location is very handy though and within one hour drive to many touristic spots. All in all, I wouldn't want to pay full price for this rental and glad we didn't. We booked it last minute and the owner was quick to reply. Not sure what the other properties around the complex are like or if they have been refurbished. Once again, worth checking before you book. It must have been a lovely place when first refurbished but in need of TLC now.
