Les Glycines - Two-Bedroom House

😊: Lovely little house. Great location for visiting chateaux museums etc.. 😢: Nothing.

😊: Very kind host, helpful and available. The place is small but has everything one needs, including washing machine and dishwasher. Joachim is very quick to respond to any requests. The kids played with the dog in the yard. On warm days we could take our meals outside. Close to bouldering sites around Fontainebleau. Good internet. Charming furniture in the bedrooms. The glycine around the door is beautiful in the spring.. 😢: Ants in the flat that bit us at night, it got better after some insecticide treatment. Occasional dog poop in the yard that our kids managed to step into before it got picked up. Very small bathroom. Dim lighting (there are no ceiling lights in the rooms). The dog wanders in if you don't close the door properly. The stairs are very steep for small kids..

😊: The owner is very kind and brought us some croissants! We were able to check in earlier and is was very easy, thank you! The apartment is nice, there is everything you need. We liked the separated toilet und shower as we were 5 guests.. 😢: Unfortunately the red bedroom smelled a bit moldy, as did the shower (the air condition is not very strong)..

😊: Our host, Joe, was very friendly, spoke excellent English and was really relaxed when our arrival was delayed due to getting lost in Paris. The family live in the adjoined house and they were all very welcoming when we met. The house was very well appointed, the rooms were comfy, clean and we had everything we needed. There was a large TV with Netflix so we could watch our normal shows. There was a supermarket very close by. The property is just on the edge of the village and our evening walk took us to a field of sunflowers. It was a quiet and relaxing place to stay.. 😢: A few lights were not working and the shower head had a couple of leaks. The missing lights were not so bad as no room lacked lights at all and it was still possible to use the shower..
