This spacious property is ideal for larger groups, with all of the bedrooms having full ensuites. The garden is lovely, with plenty of room and beautiful fig trees. The covered terrace was a particularly nice feature and very useful, meaning that you could eat outside even when the weather was wet. The pool is a good size, but is very deep, so not ideal for children or those less confident swimmers. It's also not heated, so unless the weather is hot all of the time, the water can be chilly. There were plenty of sun loungers, which was appreciated, Two fridges were useful, and much needed, but one wasn't working properly. Whilst the kitchen was well equipped, we found more basic items were missing and there wasn't enough cupboard space for food (because there was so much kitchen equipment we didn't use). It did feel that the house and pool needed some maintenance and TLC, although overall it is a nice property in a nice area. The bathrooms are dated and a little tired, but there was plenty of hot water. The air con was on a timer that we couldn't adjust, which was frustrating during hot days. There's a very useful utility room, with a washing machine and tumble drier, which was helpful for our large group. The location is very nice and surrounded by lovely walks. The nearest bakery is approximately 12 minutes drive away. The owner was very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed our stay, despite the mixed weather.
