Les Hirondelles

Excellent Good starting point for an exploration of the region. Very close to different types of supermarket and very close to major roads. However, the gite itself is in very quiet grounds. The gite is, I suppose, part of what used to be a farm with the owner living there, which is useful for practical reasons. The host is friendly, to the point and available should there be a problem or question. The gite is spacious, clean and well-equipped. Good beds. The big trees in the spacious garden offer welcome shade on hotter days.

A wonderful stay! Truly a wonderful stay. Spacious, clean, comfy. Was the perfect place for our family's week in Normandy. Highly recommended!

Les 7 belges Très bien situé pour visiter les plages du débarquement. Tous les commerces à 700 mètres seulement, et pourtant très tranquille et silencieux comme endroit. Je recommande.

Fantastic place to be This is our preferred location staying close to everything in Bayeux and enjoying the quietness at night. The space is fantastic, and the living room is separated enough that we cannot hear it from the rooms allowing people to get some rest when others can celebrate. The owner was very reactive and very helpful each time we needed something. Everything was very clean.

Formidable La situation géographique est très bien pour découvrir la Normandie ainsi que les plages du débarquement.... L'accueil de la propriétaire est excellent, çe logement est reposant et très bien équipé. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Je recommande ++

Les Hirondelles magnifique et accueillant Les Hirondelles c'est la base idéale pour une visite soit à Bayeux soit en Normandie soit aux Plages du Débarquement. On est tout près du centre ville, la Cathédrale, la rivière, le moulin, la tapisserie, les marchés sont juste à côté, il y a deux boulangers à moins de 400m, mais en même temps on est bien à côté de la campagne. On an access directement aux autres villes et villages et les plages sont à une dizaine de kilomètres seulement. Camille est magnifique comme hostesse et on n'a rien manqué et on ne changerait rien avec notre visite. On va bientôt retourner l'an prochain. Merci Camille pour l'accueil et votre gentillesse!

Beautiful Property Our groups (8 one week and 6 the next) could not have been happier...from the very first impression of Camille's gite to our ability to enjoy our stay in Bayeux. Plenty of space, well-equipped, and quiet. An easy 30-minute walk to the beautiful downtown. Plenty of parking for rental vehicles. Camille is friendly and very responsive (thankfully, I used google translate). This was our first gite experience and we were very impressed. Thanks, Camille!
