Les Hirondelles - La Ferme des Tourterelles

We stayed in a delightful 2 bed cottage for 4 nights. It’s really hard to find fault with this place. The descriptions are accurate but I’d say we were still pleasantly surprised on arrival. The owners really couldn’t be more helpful, willingly offering local advice and suggestions without being intrusive. The pool is excellent, the cottages nicely furnished and the location beautiful. It is a very rural location with no services in the village but a short drive takes gets you to everything you need. An easy drive to the historic town of Troyes, well worth a visit.

Wir haben im Juli eine wunderschöne Woche in eclance verbracht! Die Wohnung ist stilvoll und geräumig, jedes Zimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer. Der Pool lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Kinder haben es geliebt! In der Umgebung gibt es einige interessante und aufregende Ausflugsziele (Essoyes auf renoirs spuren, nigloland für die kids..) - alles in allem super tolle Ferien!

Sarah and James have done a great job of creating a lovely place to stay, with a big pool, and friendly atmosphere. The accommodation is excellent, and very well equipped. The pool is also perfect. It’s a very welcoming place, and Sarah and James are super helpful, relaxed and friendly. We certainly recommend it here (we travelled as a family with a 2 year old and 5 year old).

Enjoyed very much our stay with both bed rooms being ensuite, very high standard and very well maintained. Enjoyed visiting champagne houses and ideal being so close to the accommodation. Would recommend this vacations

Very pleased to find this place! The village is quiet and picturesque. Accommodation is comfortable and contemporary. Kids loved playing in the pool and playing table tennis and boules. The morning delivery of fresh pastries was very welcome! Sarah and James are very genial and helpful hosts.

Nous avons passé 3 semaines à ECLANCE chez Sarah et James. Que dire... C'était tout simplement magnifique!!! Des vacances de rêve... Tout d'abord c'est un superbe région : lacs, forêts, cerfs en liberté, l'air pur, des fleurs... Ensuite la propriété est magnifique: la maison, la piscine, le terrain avec les jeux pour les enfants, le barbecue, les roses, de la lavande... trop beau! Et enfin ce qui était très important pour nous Sarah et James sont hyper gentils et très discrets, on se sent vraiment comme chez nous, à la maison. Bref, nous sommes ravis, c'est une adresse à retenir et nous le recommandons à tout le monde!

We had a wonderful time in a beautiful setting. The accommodation is of a very hight standard and all amenities within the property are superb. The pool is a particular feature. We will definitely visit again, as it is also a great location near a really nice amusement park Nigloland, the city of outlet shops (Troyes) is 30 miles away and there is plenty to see in the lac de la Foret d'Orient natural park. Highly recommended!

We have stayed twice, August 2009 and August 2010 . The accommodation is of a very high standard and the grounds are lovely. Sarah and James are really nice people who are helpful and friendly. It is lovely area of France.
