Les Maisons d'Antan 5 étoiles

😊: Wonderful holiday villa for large family/friends gatherings. There are 2 separate dwellings, 1. La Mansarde, the beautiful 17th Century building which only contains 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms over 3 floors (top floor bedroom with double and single bed) and 2. La Bergerie which contains a living room, separate large dining room, a large kitchen with table to seat 8 and 2 bedrooms (one bedroom off the kitchen with 1 single and 1 double bed and shower room and one bedroom upstairs off the living room with bathroom). The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. There is a utility/pool room adjacent to the gated pool with extra fridge, washing machine and dryer. Gardens are beautiful and there are 2 small charcoal bbqs as well as covered area with outdoor dining tables and chairs. There are also a couple sweet outdoor seating areas. The whole place is set in the countryside and was very peaceful. Accommodation was very clean, beds were comfortable and all appliances worked. A special thank you to Florence, the housekeeper, who was a great help.. 😢: We brought our own cafetière so it would have been nice if one had been available (there is one pod-type coffee machine and one electric filter coffee maker) and some serving platters would have been nice to have but these are just small things. A floorpan and map of the property would have helped when researching this accommodation. Otherwise, everything was perfect..
