Les Sorbiers - Grand T4 ensoleillé avec Vue Panoramique

😊: Well equipped, lots of storage space, quiet. 😢: We are usually pretty easy-going guests and have traveled quite a bit around the world, but unfortunately we did not have a very good experience staying at the Les Sorbiers - Grand T4. Here’s why: 1. A third party is managing the booking: once booked, you are asked to organize your booking via Conciergerie des Cimes and if you have any questions during your stay, you are supposed to contact them instead. We do not think that this is the idea behind a listing on booking.com where a direct contact between host and guest is vital to the experience. 2. The place on booking lists towels as an amenity, but we did not get any. In theory this is not a big deal, as you can bring your own, but if the listing includes them as amenities, we usually do not do that. When asking about them after our arrival (as they were listed as amenities) we were told to contact a third party. 3. A family of four staying for three nights, we were provided only one small trash bag. Additionally, there is only one trash bin, so no option to properly recycle. 4. There was no dish soap or dish washer tabs. We had to buy it ourselves with the problem that we arrived on a public holiday. Again, no problem, in theory, but it should be transparently stated. 5. While in good condition, we did not find the place to be sparklingly clean. 6. When visiting out of season, the town is rather dead, although this is of course not anyone’s fault and can be expected (thus not counting it as a negative, just a side note) It’s a pity, the place has a lot of potential as it offers really nice views and is very well equipped! For us, however, it was not the best of experiences and we cannot recommend this accommodation..

😊: Great view and quiet location, easy walk in to town for restaurants. 😢: Basic accommodation, correspondence was good up until arrival however once there did not respond to messages until check out..
