Les Tournesols gîte en pleine nature

😊: This is a very charming gite with a wonderful open view on the fields and mountains, in a quiet location, well equipped and beautifully designed.. 😢: Nothing.

😊: Quite clean, pleasant hosts and on site parking. 😢: On arrival we drove past the property as it did not look like the property we had booked. The property is still a building site on the outside and very unfinished externally. The stairs leading into the property are incredibly steep and don’t feel particularly safe. The property was very cold when we arrived but the heating system was efficient and soon heated the property. The quality of the workmanship wasn’t very good and the layout could have been better considered. The toilet let directly into the kitchen/lounge area which wasn’t great, also no sink in the toilet. One of the beds in one of the rooms was very hard and uncomfortable- the beds are also very small and two adults would find the space very tight. The kitchen literally had the basics, no bread knife and very limited worktop space, not enough sockets for all the appliances. A handbook to explain how the appliances worked would be useful. We also expected details of places of interest in the local area to be provided. All in all it’s a shame that the property did not meet with our requirements. Please think carefully about booking if you have mobility issues as the property would probably be unsuitable due to the stairs. WiFi code should be provided in the property..
