😊: A beautiful accommodation, very close to the village, stylish, clean and very comfortable for our party of six.. 😢: It was top notch 100%!.

😊: everything was great. 😢: some littile problem with hiiting sistem.

😊: From the outside, the house was beautiful.. 😢: I have not been more disappointed by any accommodation in my life. Between the mites in the pillows on the beds, the freezer packs but no freezer, and the complete absence of a toilet and wash basin in the same location, I have never stayed in a more unwelcoming house. As soon as I booked Les Volets Bleus I told the owner I was visiting with my parents who are in their 80s. When messaging me later, the owner reminded me that the accommodation was her family home. What she forgot to say was that key areas of the home had been locked up and were out of use, which made the house incredibly impractical. We arrived find that the toilet on the 1st floor (next to the main bedrooms) had been locked and was unavailable for our entire stay. My elderly parents (who visit the toilet numerous times at night) were forced to sleep on the top floor where there was a very basic toilet - without even a sink to wash your hands. This meant that my parents (on on a very rare holiday) spent their time climbing up and down the stairs and were exhausted as a result. I told the owner’s sister, who looks after the property. She was sympathetic, but did not offer any help. I later realised that she could have simply UNLOCKED THE TOILET ON THE FIRST FLOOR and that would have transformed our holiday. My parents could have relaxed and conserved their energy. We could have gone to the toilet and washed our hands in the same room, without having to go up/ down a flight of stairs, or walk 10+ meters to the kitchen. We could have had a relaxing holiday, but the owner decided not to allow us that. (There was a toilet on the ground floor, but without a sink - the only sinks we were allowed to use were in the bathroom or kitchen.) It’s also worth mentioning there is a bath in the bathroom, but it is not plumbed in (instead there is a small sign above it saying ‘decorative bath’). There were also mites on the pillows in the bedrooms..
