Lille centre - Bel appartement sous les combles !

😊: Buona posizione. Fornitura i asciugamani e sapone nella doccia. Ventilatore che era possibile spostare (ma non sufficiente a rinfrescare visto che non era possibile aprire la finestra della camera).. 😢: Androne e scale non pulite, localizzato al quinto piano senza ascensore. Appartamento mediamente pulito. Odore di fogna che usciva dagli scarichi. Impossibilità di aprire il lucernario della camera che, in giorni di forte caldo, non consentiva di riposare la notte e in generale far circolare l’aria..

😊: Great location especially for the price I paid for it. Only a 12-15 minute walk to both train stations which was ideal as I was doing some travelling in and around Lille.. 😢: This property is on the 5th floor with no lift, which isn’t to much of an issue however the stairs were very narrow and steep, especially the final flight to the front door. There was also a very unpleasant smell that I believe came from the shower drain and because the bedroom was attached it also made the bedroom smell. The location on this place is great in terms of the city itself (and the great bar next door) however it could be quite noisy with traffic from the street and the property was not very soundproof at all..

😊: The host (despite not meeting them personally) were super available through text. The apartment is cute, I liked the fact it was on an attic! The position is perfect, cyou can walk anywhere to the city centre. Good value for money, compared to the average price in Lille!. 😢: As already mentioned in some reviews, the windows do not close well. I am concerned that, if it rains, water might get inside (I was lucky, as the weather was impeccable!).. this also means, of course, that the apartment is not sound-proof. Also, as already mentioned in the reviews, there is no door between the bathroom and the bedroom, and a weird smell was coming from the toilet the first day.. Finally, important to mention the stairs, as the apartment is at the 5th floor and the last part of the stairs are quite interesting I would say... bit dangerous for older people I might say.
