Location cassis vacances villa provençale 11p face mer 400m port plage

This is a charming, traditional French country home located on the hill above Cassis. We were there with a family group of 10 people for four nights in August and all of us loved our stay. We especially enjoyed the ample outdoor space and multiple seating areas. The weather was perfect so we started every day with coffee outside and ended every day with rosé, cheese and bread outside, enjoying the beautiful view of the Mediterranean. The house was peaceful and comfortable and the bathrooms have recently been updated so they are quite clean and functional. The kitchen, while small, has newer high end appliances that served us well, and there are plenty of dishes, pots and pans, etc, for a large group. We also appreciate that there are basics in the house like oil, vinegar and spices. We didn’t spend much time inside expect to sleep; the beds were comfortable and there were fans for each room which was appreciated during the warm nights. WiFi worked well and we were glad to have the washing machine after 6 days at a hotel in Paris. The home also had some beach equipment for guests’ use, like snorkel gear and chairs, which we used and enjoyed. We couldn’t find more than one beach towel so that would be a welcome addition to the beach supplies. The house is situated a 10 minute walk from town and about 5 minutes from Plage Bestouan. The hill is steep so it was a bit hard on my 82 year old Dad who had to take it very slow. Also, if the house is full, as it was with our group, note that two of the bedrooms are accessible through other bedrooms. Something to be kept in mind if privacy and quiet are big concerns. Overall it’s a lovely home and the owner was friendly and easy to work with. Cassis is hard to beat, we were all sad to leave.

The house fully met all expectations. Ideal for a family of 5 adults and 4 small children! It felt like a traditional French family home with lots of extras and touches of real class. Well equipped kitchen. The spacious garden had areas for enjoying sun or shade depending on tastes/ time of day. Cassis itself is an enchanting place with amazing scenery, fantastic restaurants and markets. Just wish the family could be together every year!

House was perfect for our 4 night stay and had lots of room. Great if you have kids and need extra space. The view of the ocean was beautiful and the patio was very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay!

Fantastique endroit, maison très accueillante avec beaucoup de charme (fenêtres verrières, balcon traversant, escalier en pierre, etc) et un jardin incroyable très bien orienté (sud-ouest avec un soleil couchant qui reste jusqu'à 20h), vue mer à tous les étages, et un côté sympathique qui donne l'impression d'être dans la maison de son enfance. Sur le plan pratique, ya tout, les lits sont confortables, tout fonctionne, ya même les balles de ping-pong et des supers enceintes. Paradis du matin au soir. et tenanciers très gentils. LOVED IT !!!!

Maison parfaite, nous étions 11 personnes et nous nous sommes de suite sentis bien dans cette maison. Maison bien équipée, de nombreux jeux pour les enfants, livres … une maison qui vit ... Le jardin est un vrai coin de paradis offrant une superbe vue. Je recommande vivement cette maison, a noter également un accueil irréprochable.

Cette grande maison est une maison parfaite pour les vacances qui permet de venir nombreux entre amis ou en famille sans être stressés par du mobilier ou de la décoration fragiles. A noter de bons matelas pour les grands lits. La cuisine est bien équipée et le jardin avec ses chaises longues et sa table de ping pong est un petit coin de paradis pour les petits comme pour les grands. Pas de piscine mais c'est justement ce que nous recherchions puisqu'il y avait 2 enfants qui ne savaient pas nager donc pas d'angoisse pour la sécurité. L'accès rapide à pieds aux plages et au port de cassis est le point fort. Le couple en charge de l'accueil et du départ a été adorable. Très bonne 1ère expérience pour nous. Merci

Our family of six traveled from USA to southern France, where we stayed at this Mediterranean Villa for four nights. Owner was extremely attentive and responsive, which made our stay that much pleasant and easy. House was charming, with multiple amenities, and a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. We woke up to see the sea. Location is excellent, with easy access to main attractions. We walked to the old port, beaches, calanques, local market. We felt right at home. House had ping pong table, which we played a lot, bbq, beach toys and mats. Terrific library, tv, lots of amenities. Clean, with a full kitchen. It can easily hold two or three families. We truly enjoyed it and would go back, as we had our fondest memories of France in this house and Cassis.
