😊: Everything was good.. 😢: Nothing.

😊: Beautiful mountain village in the Pyrenees, well worth visiting. Went as a family on a gorgeous, fairly challenging hike to the Lac de Gaube. Thermal baths, lovely local produce. Impressive cleanliness and respect for the environment, no littering, no swimming, but fishing allowed.. 😢: (I'm a French speaker.) If you don't mind NOT being supplied bed linen and towels, your confirmation email at 16:36 of your arrival day is returned with the caveat "Address unknown", you make three phone calls and leave three messages, don't mind being blackmailed by "the cleaner" (?) during your dinner at the restaurant to get up and fork out immediately and in cash at the property, initially €50, then €150, then "for you €80" for basic essentials of hôtellerie and gastronomy .... As we were obviously being scammed by the owner/manager(?), we finally paid €50 for 3 for polyester bedsheets that made us sweat in the two windowless bedrooms. CANNOT RECOMMEND. Will be reporting this property to the tourism and tax authorities in Paris..

Clean and tidy Wonderful showers. 😢: An additional charge for bedding and towels that was not made evident at time of booking Only one towel per person, no hand towels for hand washing or drying crockery in kitchen. One roll of toilet paper for a 4 night stay between 4 people No hand wash soap Broken hair dryer, so no facility to dry hair No iron for clothes Insufficient crockery, for example No bowls, 3 mugs for 4 to 6 people. Poor quality bedding, very flimsy cushions instead of actual pillows. Late communication about end of stay routine (0040 when we left at 0500!).

😊: Beautifully decorated apartment and very central location. 1 min from the cable car! The host even made a ski locker available to us. Would definitely like to return !. 😢: The walls are thin so the noise from the neighbours was quite loud although by 22h it would stop each day..
