😊: Great location. Comfortable loft conversion.. 😢: Whilst there was air conditioning in the apartment that worked efficiently downstairs, during such a heatwave the sleeping area on the mezzanine level remained very hot. Perhaps a portable fan would be useful. Fitness level needs to be high due to being on the 4th floor and no elevator in the old building in Aix en Provence. Cute little Italian restaurant downstairs Da Aldo serving some of the best homemade gnocchi..

😊: Very stylish and well appointed. Excellent location from which to explore Aix.. 😢: Many functional and logistical issues. The plumbing from the loft bathroom leaks badly through to the kitchen. Lights in the bathroom didn’t work and loose door handles etc. The listing says there is a parking garage however, the car park was a decent walk with luggage and a small child..

😊: The loft apartment was very lovely, nice and cosy. Had everything we needed and only a short walk to all shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this place.. 😢: The apartment was on the 4th floor, so was a mission with all our bags..

😊: Central- not far from where the festival takes place. Modern loft with kitchen. High quality.. 😢: Quite a climb, and no elevator. And wifi wasn’t working. According to the owner because there was a general Wifi outage. But when I opened Wifi, I saw 10+ channels so I didn’t buy that. If you don’t close the curtains, the neighbors will see you shower. I chose this apartment because I needed to have some work done, and without proper WiFi, it was suboptimal..
