Loft Porte de Gentilly

😊: The location was really good, very close to the train station and some lovely bakeries for breakfasts.. 😢: The check in was a bit frustrating. We didn't get any check in information ahead of time at all. There was no response to any messages asking for information The person that ended up checking us in was quick, but not terribly friendly. The apartment was not well appointed, with only 3 towels for 4 people and there wasn't any of the usual things you'd expect, like tea or coffee or a little thing of milk in the fridge. It's not really a 2 bedroom apartment, it's got a spilt mezzanine but no doors to the bedrooms. The beds were pretty hard and the pillows were woeful. There was also no spare blankets in the place at all. The bathroom was serviceable, although the shower head was ridiculously loose and would only stay still at a really odd angle so showering was a bit of a contortion effort. It's definitely no frills and the place is a bit run down and needs some TLC, to patch the peeling chunks off the bedroom ceiling, the hole under the bath and the cupboard door that fell off its rails and on to my sons foot. The upside is, it was relatively cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. In the end, we had a place to sleep and shower, albeit not particularly comfortably, so it served its main purpose!.

😊: Nice space but need add more light, fans and something in upstairs. 😢: Unclean, dirty and shower head broken when we arrive..
