LOUBATIERE, Superbe Appartement rénové au Coeur de la Station

😊: Great location for slopes and the town centre, clearly a lot of work has gone into modernising the flat and the big king bed was super comfy (a little difficult to get round to the other side though, have to shuffle round to avoid the TV). Great views!. 😢: 1) We had to make our own bed, as in put the sheets on the mattress, pillows etc. Never had to do this in any place I’ve stayed in before! 2) We only got given one half roll of toilet paper for our stay, and half roll of kitchen paper. I’ve never had to buy toilet roll/kitchen roll for an apartment stay before. Whilst kitchen is fully equipped there was no basic things like dish soap either. So ended up having to buy toilet roll, kitchen roll and basic cleaning supplies. 3) Toilet is a little tight, be careful of toilet roll holder. 4) If there are more than 2 of you it would be quite cramped, the bunk beds are the corridor to the main bedroom and there is only 1 x small sofa so no-where to chill as a 4..

😊: Fabulous newly refurbished flat perfectly located for ski slope, shops and restaurants. We have stayed in various properties in Montgenevre and would recommend this one definetly.. 😢: Getting information about how to access the property was poor. The host / caretaker needs to send one text or e mail with all the information on it …the address, the entry door, where the key box is, the code, the name on the letterbox / flat and ski locker and the code for the ski locker. I felt I had to keep sending texts to the caretaker to get this information piece by piece….so frustrating and it could have been made so much easier for both the renter and the caretaker with just all that information up front..

😊: Location excellent - near to a skilift, near to restaurants, near to a supermarket. Good car parking area. Well kitted out kitchen. Lots of storage space and electrical sockets. Good wi-fi.. 😢: Entrance to toilet, and bathroom narrow - kept bumping accidentally against bathroom cabinet and loo roll holder. Main bed very high, and quite uncomfortable. Not clear that the second bedroom (with bunk beds) is actually the entrance hall to the main bedroom. I guess OK with young kids, but not really with adults sharing. Never saw the host.
