LOUISE STUB IN ALSACIAN FARMHOUSE WITH GARDEN NEAR STRASBOURG

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable! Tout était chouette. Tout d'abord Fred et Fredo, très à l'écoute, chaleureux et sympathiques, sans chichi. Puis la "stub de Louise", qui a beaucoup de cachet, avec son poêle allumé matin et soir pour notre plus grand plaisir. Puis le jardin, très joli et vivant avec ses oies, poules et lapins. Et enfin, la région elle-même, avec ses beaux villages et ses vergers en fleurs. Bref, un endroit où l'on se sent bien, avec des propriétaires adorables qui ont su preserver l'authenticité de cette ferme.

Wir haben 5 Tage bei Frederic verbracht. Nicht nur, dass Haus und Garten wunderschön waren, Frederic war super hilfsbereit und nett. Es war ein toller Urlaub mit Kind und Hund. Dankeschön!

Aufgrund äußerer Umstände konnten wir nicht in dieser Unterkunft Urlaub machen wie geplant. Der Gastgeber hat sich aber rührend um eine Alternative gekümmert und alles hat reibungslos funktioniert. Zum beschriebenen Haus kann ich daher nichts sagen, aber an den Gastgeber geht ein herzliches Dankeschön für den tollen Service und die Kommunikation! Ganz toll!

Although we loved the idea and style of the accommodations and farm, we did compromise on some levels. The room had natural light but to have privacy., the shutters had to be closed which made it very dark. And although there were lamps, there were not any extra outlets for recharging cellphones or a cpap machine so the lamps had to be unplugged. The bathroom was dark and the towels did not dry overnight. The linens on the fold out sofa did not feel crispy clean. The house cat was very friendly, we liked that.

La Ferme de Marie is a warm and cosy house, beautifully decorated, a wonderful antique restored alsacian farm, charmingly done, a very special place. It is also very good located, in Rangen, a quiet and beautiful village, where is easy to park, and just half an hour drive to Strasbourg through a beautiful countryside road. No wonder it is " La Maison Préférée des Français". Is a stunning accommodation. We will always be very greatful to the owner, Fred , for your amability and generousity, you were very kind. Thanks for everything.
