Really lovely house, jaw-dropping views, perfect location. We had the best time and could hardly bear to leave. Couldn’t have asked for a better host.

We immensely enjoyed our stay at this villa. The view is breathtaking, the house itself is wonderful and warm and has everything you need. You do need to be award that the road to the house is very steep and slippery when it rains. You need to be a (very) experienced driver and/or drive a suitable care to tackle it without problems.

The villa is in a fantastic location with excellent views down towards Nice and the Med. The pool was a lovely place to relax and Tourettes-sur-Loup just a short distance down the hill. The villa was very clean and well equipped and Francois and Catherine were very welcoming and excellent at keeping us informed.

This villa is amazing. It feels like a home. The view is wonderful and the fittings, furniture and equipment are really good. Positives - the villa is REALLY well equipped - maps, local guides, some games, a very well equipped kitchen. Fridge and freezer with ice maker. Microwave and oven. I loved the fact that previous holidaymakers (or the owners) had left a cupboard of spices and herbs, rice, some bits in the freezer and a couple of onions - meant that we didn't have to buy spices when we only needed a teaspoon. But we did buy some things and leave them for future users. The beds were very comfy, with additional pillows available. Air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms. The pool is excellent. We paid to have the pool heated as Catherine and Francois advised it would be a bit cool at this time of year. Catherine and Francois were great to deal with - very responsive when we had a couple of problems. Tourettes is a lovely hillside town with a few restaurants and bars. The 'petit creperie' is well worth a visit. Things to be aware of - the wifi is not great. It works downstairs but not upstairs. Not a problem for us, but if you like to sit in bed looking at your phone, you'll need to use your data allowance. Each bedroom is ensuite but one upstairs is a bath and hand held shower, rather than a walk in shower. The walk up from Tourettes is strenuous. It's about 20 mins but hard work! Overall a wonderful villa and great hosts. Would highly recommend.

we were on vacation for the first time with our little Lily and booked this beautiful villa. We felt at home from the first moment! Everything was very clean and furnished with attention to detail. If you are looking for a beautiful and comfortable house conveniently located in a picturesque village- look no further! This villa is well appointed and full of every amenity you may need, equipped with anything you could possibly ask for: dry goods ( salt/ oil/ pasta) , cleaning / washing supplies, pots, silverware - Good for a party of 60! The house is decorated with taste and many personal touches, very comfortable for a family of 6. We were 4 with 2 teen girls. The pool is beautiful, clean and salt water! The grounds are perfect to relax and lots of space for everyone. The village is absolutely beautiful- we were not aware it was a medieval village on hill which had restaurants, great bakery and idyllic views! We made also daily trips to Nice ( 35 mins) Menton, Antibes, even St Tropez but that was far for 1 day. I highly recommend this beautiful home and would love to return one day! thank you to the Hosts who let us spend our French holiday here!

The communication with the host and the check-in was very easy and very friendly. The villa is very clean and equipped with everything you need during your stay, even more than we expected. 2 sleeping rooms have an aircon. We chose the option to heat the pool and it was worth it. The temperature was around 27 degrees. The view was very unbelievable and we enjoyed our stay for 1 week very much and would come again anytime. Thanks again Francois and Catherine :-)
