The chateau itself is tastefully redone, while preserving its original character and beauty. The kitchen is fully equipped and has enough place settings and silverware for up to 20 people. Every bedroom is a en-suite with renovated bathrooms, with showers, very comfortable beds and top quality bed linens. The swimming pool area is wonderful, with a nice ...<br>#128577; One aspect, which did not bother all members of our party, was the rather intrusive bell ringing from the church/graveyard across the property. For those planning to sleep in, be aware that the bell starts bellowing at 7 am sharp every morning and continues at a furious rhythm until 7:10, after which it sounds every hour. Another consideration is the absence of air conditioning, which may be more of a problem later in the summer (we were there in mid June), although at night the temperature ...

Beautiful house for a group...<br>#128578; Beautiful house, comfortable beds, gorgeous location (albeit a long way from most things, so you would need a car as taxis were a little tricky to come by. Pool was lovely and kitchen well equipped.<br>#128577; Not quite enough linen left (host maybe missed our change in numbers notice). One or two of the bathrooms had a bit of an odour, even though they were clean - could be an issue with the piping perhaps? Overall the place was really beautiful and really well stocked. The hosts gave helpful information including taxi companies.
