Luxury 3 Bed Home with Heated Swimming Pool Air Con and Boules Pitch

😊: Maison Marion is a beautiful house with everything you could possibly need. The swimming pool is large and we spent many hours cooling off and having fun-the pool was a massive hit with everyone! The beds were so comfortable and the air conditioning in every room was very much appreciated during such a hot week in August. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday in the French countryside then don’t hesitate to book! We are so glad we did!. 😢: Nothing, everything was great!.

😊: Loved the fact it was spacious, with several cloakrooms, a super kitchen and outside space. We loved eating under the side pergola - a beautiful solid wooden structure offering lots of shade all day. The pool is superb, heated and a fantastic asset in the heatwave we encountered. Clwyd, the property manager, was excellent and greeted us with such a lovely big smile and warm welcome. He was very helpful.. 😢: Nothing really. We spent almost our entire week lying around the pool and thought the sunbeds could have been more comfortable - but the other outside seating equipment is very luxurious. I think it’s worth pointing out that the location is beautiful, agricultural and therefore remote. The town Salignac does have a supermarket and bakery but as is typical in rural France, they aren’t always open. In the heat it’s not really in walking distance. So, we were 2 days in to our holiday before we’d had a croissant or baguette - but made up for it once the shops opened!.

😊: Brilliant place to stay. Facilities were excellent and the air conditioning was excellent. Clwyd could not have been more helpful..

😊: Second visit to this house so we knew it was a high standard in a great location. The closeness to the Black Duck pub is also very handy. There are wonderful walks through wooded valleys from the front door with Sarlat-la-Caneda and the Dordogne Valley short drives away. You will need a car to stay here. The property hosts, Clwyd and Alison, are both extremely friendly and helpful.. 😢: Nothing.
