Luxury 5 cottage with own private heated pool - Sleep 4

The ‘Lodge’ was the perfect accommodation for the Bordeaux part of our visit to France. It was a great jumping off point for visits to amazing Chateaux and historic towns. After a day of wine tasting, we enjoyed relaxing in the backyard with the lounges and pool. Indoors, the Lodge is the perfect configuration for 2 couples. Everything was clean and in excellent condition. The property delivered above expectations. Marta and Ian were very accommodating hosts and extremely responsive to our questions both before and during our stay. We would highly recommend staying at the ‘Lodge’ or the sister properties!

Wonderful property, pool and stay. Beautiful private outdoor sitting area and well stocked kitchen. Central for exploring the Bordeaux region. Hosts were exceptional and welcoming. They even had bikes for us to borrow.

Great experience…however, the air conditioning in the main floor bedroom wasn’t connected, which made a few nights uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay in the Lodge in June. The old property has been lovingly and beautifully restored by the excellent hosts Iain and Marta. It is perfect if you are looking for relaxation and tranquility with the option of easily exploring the stunning surrounding region. I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Such a wonderful stay! Marta and Ian are wonderful hosts. We especially appreciated the personal walk-through of the property and all its features. The home itself is fabulous and comfortable. We loved being there and hope to go back.

We are two couples who had a wonderful in this lovely property! We enjoyed the gourmet kitchen, lovely sunsets on the back patio and the excellent location to tour Bordeaux, st Emilion and area. Ian and Marta are wonderful hosts who looked after all the small details to make it a wonderful stay! Merci beaucoup!

Iain and Marta built this beautiful rural paradise, we really enjoyed it. Guests are number one and they will do everything they can to ensure that you as a guest can enjoy your stay to the fullest.

The house was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Iain was friendly and helpful but kept very much in the background. The location was wonderful and just what we wanted with a lovely view from the property. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you.
